Explorers do a wide range of things but by the time our young people have reached 15 years, the emphasis has changed to allow them to play a big part in deciding what they want to do as a unit. There are no real limits to what can be done – our local unit regularly goes camping, do day visits, and even just chill out together round a camp fire!

Our local unit is the Calton Explorer Scout Unit is based at Greenside Parish Church, Royal Terrace. The Calton Explorers meet on a Thursday from 7.30pm.
